The Challenge
Clarity Counseling Collective had a great team with an amazing reputation, but they were about to bring on two new therapists and needed a reliable way to fill their schedules. A strong reputation alone wasn’t generating enough new client inquiries to keep the new therapists busy, and they had no predictable system for turning openings into booked clients.
The Approach
This psychotherapy practice already had a strong design foundation, but the site wasn’t telling Google what the business actually did or who they served, and it had a few gaps holding back conversions. We started by fixing both. We improved their on-page and technical SEO and expanded the website copy so the practice would rank for the searches their leads were actually making and build authority in Google’s eyes. A big part of that was building out a dedicated service page for each type of care they offered, giving every service its own focused page to rank, answer client questions, and convert visitors into inquiries. We optimized their Google Business Profile to capture local visibility and build trust before someone ever clicked through, focusing on similar concepts; adding services to highlight exactly what they do and who they do it for. Then we built a Google Ads campaign designed specifically for therapy lead generation, structured so the practice could dial lead flow up or down depending on current openings and which therapists had availability. We also built in the ability to target by modality, so the campaign could prioritize the kind of care a lead was searching for and match it to the right therapist’s schedule.
The Results
Within about eight weeks, from just SEO, one of the two new therapists was already at full capacity, and the other had several strong leads in the pipeline as they closed in on filling their calendar as well. Clarity Counseling Collective now has a dependable, scalable source of new clients and full control over lead volume. When they add a therapist or open up availability, they can increase paid ads to match. When schedules fill, they can ease off. The practice went from hoping referrals would keep pace to running new client acquisition on their own terms. And now, they are actually at the point of having a waitlist for some of their therapists. An amazing business problem, but for the Owner and CEO, a hard pill to swallow as someone who desires to provide her local community with amazing mental health care.
